Follow these 5 tips to help you get the most out of the event this year.

  1. Find your track and don’t be afraid to venture out of it.

This year at Opticon, we have crafted specific tracks to meet your objectives. The agenda spans the topics of technology, growth, and strategy. For those of you who want even more from the technology track, we are featuring a Developer Night. While you may lean towards a particular track, don’t be afraid to mix it up a little. Here are some breakout sessions that you’ll want to consider, regardless of which track you gravitate towards:

  • From iOS to TiVo: In-app Digital Experience Testing, featuring Nike and Fox Networks | Culture & Growth | Thursday 9/12 @11 am
  • How Atlassian Drove More Sign-Ups by Creating a Single View of Their Customer | Platform & Technology | Friday 9/13 @11:15 am
  • From a Team of 0 to 6,000: How IBM Accelerated Digital Optimization | Process & Strategy | Thursday 9/12 @2:45 pm
  1. Remember to have some fun!

Make sure to arrive on Wednesday in time for the Out-experiment Happy Hour to enjoy a beverage with a stunning perspective on San Francisco. The happy hour will be held at The View, an iconic bar atop the Marriott Marquis. Festivities start at 5 pm. To help you strike that work hard, play hard balance at the conference the next day, grab a Metrics-driven Mocha at the espresso bar in the Expo Hall. Stop by the Optimizely booth next door and enter to win a Nintendo Switch!

Last but not least, be sure to hit the Opticon19 Celebration at the legendary August Hall with yacht rockers Mustache Harbor on Thursday evening. Join us for SF-themed snacks, arcade games, photo booths, and bowling.

  1. Collaborate with like-minded industry experts.

Attendees will have the opportunity to share your experiences and learn from each other. Checkout the Optimizely booth activities to jot down your experiment ideas, chat with our strategists, maybe snap a selfie, and gather fodder for new tests to try out. Round table discussions will be held over breakfasts and lunches where you’ll have the chance to connect with peers in your industry. This is a time to hear what has (and hasn’t) worked for professionals like you. Discuss strategies and meet some extremely smart, genuinely impressive professionals.

  1. Get a front-row seat at the keynote.

This year, we have more product announcements than ever coming your way, and we can’t wait to share them with you! Optimizely leaders and customers will take the stage with the former VP of Product at Netflix, Gibson Biddle, investor, actor, and philanthropist Ashton Kutcher. Let’s not forget the remarkable astronaut, Dr. Mae Jemison. This is going to be a keynote to remember so grab your seat early!

  1. Take advantage of hands-on training and support.

Just like in years prior, you can stop by the Optimizely booth for ad-hoc support, troubleshooting, and get your questions answered. Looking for a more dedicated training experience? This year we are hosting a Training Day outside of the main conference sessions, so participants won’t miss a beat. The full day of training sessions will be held by the brightest minds when it comes to A/B Testing, experimentation-led product development, and all things Optimizely. After attending Training Day, you will be an expert yourself. For those of you who are interested in priority support, we will have another booth where you can meet the specialists and explore your options.

Opticon19 is just around the corner, and we want to make sure that you get the most out of the experience. You will walk away from the conference with the tools you need to out-experiment and out-perform through testing, personalization, and feature management. It’s a unique opportunity to share ideas with the most innovative people in your industry.
